Grand Funk Railroad paved the way for Jefferson Airplane, which cleared
the way for Jefferson Starship. The stage was now set for the Alan
Parsons Project, which I believe was some sort of hovercraft.

Mark Farner (Mr. Grand Funk Railroad) personally hugged me backstage at the Buffalo Chip last August. That was while Mike Pinera (Mr. Iron Butterfly) was doing a video of me along with the interview. How about that? Farner and I both have 1995 Suburbans. He had neck surgery. I did not. Guitars will mess you up!
