Hey, at least he's less of a crook than most execs in this industry. Refusing a bonus and taking compensation totalling not even a mil-and-a-half? No exec at other national television companies would take less than double that when all is said and done.
Sure, they're fucking their employees (what company doesn't in one way/shape/form), but they're not fucking the share holders by lining the execs pockets with what should be profits paid to those who invested in the company.
